Soldiers Memorialized In 5K Run

BOALSBURG, Pa. -- Soldiers from across Pennsylvania were memorialized Sunday as part of a 5K run in Centre County.It's called "Run for the Fallen" and it's part of a nationwide campaign to remember soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.The course was lined with flags representing about 185 soldiers.Event organizers said all the money raised for the run goes to a good cause."It goes to support wounded veterans and the families of fallen soldiers," said Maggie Seltzer.Several family members of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan participated in the run.Organizers said they hope the event brings more attention to the sacrifices made by soldiers.
