Confession Offers New Lead In Woman's 1992 Disappearance

A confession last week is providing police with a new lead in a 17-year-old Centre County disappearance mystery.

Dawn Miller disappeared in October 1992. She was last seen leaving Bellefonte with two men bound for Williamsport.

Police said a man recently confessed that he witnessed Miller's killing in an area off Jacksonville Road in Centre County.

Miller's remains have not yet been found.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
