Lisa Stofko enjoys the best of both worlds. Lisa is a part-time anchor/reporter at WJAC-TV and a full-time mom. A graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, Lisa joined WJAC-TV in 1987 as a photojournalist. She quickly moved in front of the camera as a general assignment reporter and co-anchor of the Morning and Noon news. Lisa shared the anchor desk with Bill Brown for seven years until the birth of her son Lucas in 2000. Lisa and her husband Jerry welcomed a second child, Anna Lynn, in 2004.Now a features reporter, Lisa focuses on issues related to success in education, children's health and consumer news. WJAC-TV's ongoing education series "Success by 6" spotlights stand-out teachers, students, and programs that foster success among young people throughout our viewing area.In Lisa's spare time, she works as a free-lance writer. Her husband Jerry is a police officer.
