The audience at last weekend's performance of "Saturday Night Live" in New York didn't see any more than you did when Janet Jackson appeared to pull out one of her breasts in the opening sketch.

Jackson's SNL 'Malfunction'

Jackson touched off a storm of controversy in February when Justin Timblerlake ripped off part of her bustier to reveal her right breast at the conclusion of the Super Bowl halftime show.

But for "SNL's" opening skit Saturday, Jackson was wearing a bra, said an NBC spokeswoman. The show, unlike Jackson's other appearance of late, did not have a delay.

Jackson was playing National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice testifying before the 9-11 Commission -- and made it look like she was baring her right breast for a distraction when the questioning got too tough.

But, Jackson's breast was electronically blurred on screen.

That wasn't the only reference to the Super Bowl incident. Jackson showed supposed "home movies" of her as a young girl and in one sequence, the girl's right swimsuit strap snaps undone.

Jackson called it a "swimsuit malfunction."

Jackson's been making the rounds promoting her new album "Damita Jo," which debuted at No. 2 on the album charts last week.
