The race starts at Saylor Park in Black Lick and will run down the Ghost Town Trail. Marathoners will run to Dilltown and back, while 1/2 marathoners will run to Hesbon before turning and heading back. This section of trail runs along Black Lick Creek and is relatively flat. The time of year should be conducive to a nice long run. In addition, the course will be certified for anyone hoping to get a Boston qualifying time.
