When those afternoon hunger pangs set in, head them off with a plan. That way, you won't be limited to offerings from vending machines or fast-food restaurants.Keep a variety of tasty, nutritious, ready-to-eat snacks on hand at home, at work or wherever you need a light bite to take the edge off hunger.Munch on baby carrots or dried fruit to stop hunger and give you an energy boost.
A handful of pretzels or a cup of yogurt can help get you healthfully through a long afternoon.
