Fall Fashion Trends

Looking sharp for back-to-school season isn't just for kids. The fall is a great time for women to focus on changing their look or doing something new. "We've chosen some lucky teachers from Little Rock, Arkansas, and gave them a fantastic head to toe makeover with things you can incorporate in your own wardrobe," says Aretha Busby, Fashion Director, Good Housekeeping.

Kara wanted a polished, more professional look, so Good Houskeeping outfitted her in a stylish teal, velvet military jacket from J. Jill, paired with pewter striped pants from the Limited.

Barbara loves to wear dresses but wanted to update her look. "So we opted for a wonderful dress from Liz Claiborne. It has fantastic pleating detail around the neckline and a sash at the waist that ties into a bow," says Busby.

Good Housekeeping says five fall trends that anyone can incorporate into their wardrobe include: leather jackets, gray clothing, velvet jackets, military styling, cropped pants and any kind of swingy, updated cardigan.

Good Housekeeping's fashion pros also say that tweed pants will be "in" for women this fall. For more fall fashion trends, check out the September issue of Good Housekeeping or visit www.goodhousekeeping.com.
