Area Woman To Be Indicted After Post Office Embezzlement Scheme

Cambria County -- A United States Postal Service employee is facing criminal charges, accused of operating a money scam.26-year-old Brandy Mae Maines told police she was robbed when she opened the Fallen Timber Post Office in Cambria County Thursday. Investigators later determined Maines had made up the story to cover up an embezzlement scheme.Maines is to be indicted on federal charges in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh.
