CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. -- Johnstown police were back at Trinity United Methodist Church on Thursday collecting evidence after someone covered the church with white powder from a fire extinguisher earlier this week.Investigators said there are three key factors at play that are working in their favor. First, whoever did it used of the church's fire extinguisher and left it at the scene. Police have taken it into evidence. Also, the footprints left behind in the powder could be a big giveaway in the case. Lastly, a glass bottle was left at the scene, which may provide more fingerprints, and also DNA.Investigators told Channel 6 News that they already have some strong leads into who made the costly mess, and they are confident arrests are coming.Cleanup at the church hasn't started yet. Trinity officials are waiting for the their insurance company to take a look at the damage.
