Ford left early with back spasms, notched 16 points, while Roy Hibbert contributed 16 points and nine boards for the Pacers, who have won three straight after opening the season with three losses. Tyler Hansbrough and Brandon Rush each added 11 points to the winning cause. Corey Maggette and fellow reserve Anthony Randolph compiled 21 and 17 points, respectively, to pace Golden State, which failed to gain momentum following Monday's emphatic 146-105 victory over Minnesota. Randolph also grabbed 13 caroms in the loss.Final Score: Toronto 99, Chicago 89 Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Chris Bosh scored a game-best 28 points to go along with 11 rebounds, as Toronto beat Chicago, 99-89, in a tale of two halves at the Air Canada Centre. The Bulls shot 52 percent from the floor in the opening half and held a 12-0 edge in second-chance points, scoring 60 points in the first 24 minutes. The second 24 were far different, as they totaled just 29 points with 11 in the fourth quarter on 3-of-21 shooting. Chicago missed its last 15 shots with Luol Deng's jumper its last field goal with 9:21 to play. That jumper gave the Bulls an 84-81 edge, but Toronto used an 18-5 stretch, which included 14 straight points at one point, to push in front to stay. Jose Calderon added 18 points with six assists for the Raptors. Andrea Bargnani totaled 16 points and Hedo Turkoglu added 11 for the Raptors, who snapped a brief two-game skid. The Bulls were led by Deng and rookie Taj Gibson, who both scored 18 points. Gibson added five boards to his career-best point total, while Joakim Noah registered his fifth double- double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Martell Webster and Rudy Fernandez sparkled off the bench with 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the Trail Blazers. Brandon Roy had 14 points, while LaMarcus Aldridge chipped in 11 for Portland, which won its fourth in a row. Jonny Flynn had 15 points and six rebounds for Minnesota, which is off to a 1-8 start for the third straight season. This marked their eighth consecutive loss. Former Magic star Shaquille O'Neal chipped in 10 points and James added eight rebounds to his night in facing the team that ended hopes of making it to the NBA Finals last season when Orlando ousted the top-seeded Cavaliers in six games. The two clubs will next meet February 11 in Cleveland. Cleveland has rebounded nicely to win five of six games since opening the season with back-to-back losses. Vince Carter tallied 29 points and Jameer Nelson 19 with five helpers for Orlando, which entered Wednesday 6-2 on the young campaign with wins in three of its last four. The Spurs, winners of back- to-back contests, built a 15-point lead after three quarters and held on down the stretch after going just 4-of-17 from the field over the last 12 minutes. Keith Bogans and Manu Ginobili each scored 13, while George Hill and Matt Bonner both chipped in 11 for the winners. It marked the first meeting of the season after the Mavs beat the Spurs in five games in the opening round of the playoffs. Final Score: Phoenix 124, New Orleans 104 Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) - Amare Stoudemire had 21 points and was one of eight Phoenix players in double figures, as the red-hot Suns blasted the Hornets 124-104 at US Airways Center. Grant Hill scored 18 and Goran Dragic 14 while Channing Frye and Jason Richardson totaled 13 points each. Steve Nash checked in with 12 points and 10 assists for Phoenix, which moved to 8-1 on the year and were coming off an impressive 4-1 east coast road trip. It's the team's best start since opening with an 11-1 ledger in 1980-81 and ties them with Boston for the best start so far in 2009-10. The Suns shot a sizzling 63 percent (29-for-46) in the first half and racked up a whopping 75 points -- the most by a team in one half so far this season. Chris Paul notched 25 points, six assists and four steals for New Orleans, which put the wraps on a three-game road trip and have dropped three of four.
