San Antonio, TX -- (Sports Network) - San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili made his return to the lineup Sunday after missing the last five games because of a strained left groin.

Ginobili was hurt during the first quarter of San Antonio's loss to Dallas on November 18. However, an MRI exam showed no structural damage.

He played about 16 1/2 minutes and scored eight points in the Spurs' 97-89 victory over Philadelphia on Sunday.

Ginobili entered the contest averaging 14.1 points and 4.2 assists.
