Centre County Hospital To Be Auctioned Again

The future of Philipsburg Hospital is expected to be decided by mid November, according to lawyers for the facility.

Negotiations have been going on between three bidders. The hospital's attorney, Ed George, said working out the details between the bidders has lead to delays in the sale.

Money from the sale will help pay off the hospital's creditors. Court documents show that $10.2 million in claims have been filed against the facility.

An auction between qualified bidders is expected to take place before November 14th.
