Cambria County -- A local woman said she paid $100 to reserve one of the hottest items this holiday season, only to find there's a catch that could cost her an extra $200 and she might not even get the item by Christmas.Shelley Peruso said she can pick up the two Nintendo Wii systems she reserved at Saturday Matinee at the Galleria Mall in Richland Township, but she said she just found out, first she has to buy two games per console.Peruso said she wasn't told that when she reserved the systems in October.Peruso said she reserved the systems on Oct. 13. She said a store worker recently told her that supervisors enacted the two-game policy during the last week in October. The games cost between $25 and $50 a piece. Each system costs about $250.Peruso wrote a letter to the chairman of Transworld Entertainment, which owns Saturday Matinee. She said she is filing paperwork with the Bureau of Consumer Protection."I'm disappointed that now they're changing the rules of the game midstream," she said. "It's almost like a bait and switch tactic."Peruso said she was also informed that she missed the cutoff guaranteeing the Wii system by Christmas. She said she was never told that could be a problem when she ordered the system."I'm going to leave my reservations for now. In the meantime, if I would happen to come across two systems, I would purchase them elsewhere," she said.Transworld Entertainment had not returned phone calls as of Monday afternoon.
