JOHNSTOWN -- The search for a local man wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a teenage girl ended Tuesday morning.

Bruce Haskins, 48, was arrested by Conemaugh Township police around 10 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center's psychiatric ward in Johnstown.

At his arraignment, Haskins told a magistrate judge that he had been in the facility for the last eight days.

Haskins faces numerous charges after police said he forced a 14-year-old girl to perform sex acts.

During the arraignment, Ferndale police said they also plan to file charges against Haskins.

Bail was set at $100,000.
