Dozens Gather To Support Suspect In Dognapping

Several dozen people gathered outside the Blair County Courthouse on Tuesday in support of an animal rights activist accused of stealing a dog.Tammy Grimes is expected to ask the court to dismiss charges against her in connection with Jake the dog.Grimes is accused of taking Jake from his owners, whom Grimes said mistreated the dog. Grimes was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.Jake died several months after Grimes allegedly took him.Stay with Channel 6 News for continuing coverage.
