Altoona Man Hides Drugs In Body Cavity

Joshua Gross, of Altoona, has been sentenced to nine to 18 months in the Blair County Jail for stashing drugs in a body cavity.Jail officials said Gross was so convinced his probation officer was going to send him back to the county jail that he prepared himself ahead of time by hiding two bags of tobacco and Xanax pills inside his body.Prison officials said they learned about the hidden drugs only after Gross distributed them to other inmates.
