Freightcar America, Union Head To Federal Court

Leaders at Freightcar America and the union representing its employees spent Wednesday in a federal court.In U.S. District Court, the steelworkers asked for an injunction to stop the company from moving work to other plants.Because the case was not settled Wednesday, both sides are expected to appear in court again on Oct. 12.The company laid off about 400 employees and has just 20 remaining workers.Stay with Channel 6 News and WJACTV.com for continuing coverage.
