LIGONIER, Pa. -- The search continued Thursday for four people who robbed a Ligonier Township bank Wednesday morning. Police said the case is similar to two others in Western Pennsylvania.

State police and the FBI said four gunmen wearing motorcycle helmets held up the First Commonwealth Bank near Laughlintown.

Police said minutes before the robbery, shots were fired outside a store several miles away. The FBI believes it was to create a diversion, similar to recent robberies in New Kensington and Washington County.
