JOHNSONBURG, Pa. -- The Johnsonburg School District continues to consider outsourcing its cafeteria services to an outside firm. The idea surfaced earlier this year and was met by protest in the Johnsonburg community.Residents claim an outside firm wouldn't be able to keep up with health concerns of some students.District officials said the school board is still negotiating with the cafeteria workers. If the district decides to hire an outside firm, 11 people could lose their jobs."I know all these people so it makes it hard," said Superintendent Walter Fitch. "But, a school district is also a business."Fitch added that there is not a timetable for an agreement between the workers and district.
