Police Looking For Two Shooting Suspects

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Police in Altoona are asking for the public's help to track down two men who they said are connected with an assault in the city.Police are looking for 25-year-old Robert McKnight and 23-year-old Eric Shird. According to police, Shird has two black tear drop tattoos under his eye. Altoona police said both of them are facing felony charges and they are believed to be armed and dangerous.On Wednesday, police said the men were involved in an assault that escalated into gunfire on Monday night. They said the fight started in a home along the 800 block of Third Avenue in the city. According to police, the men attacked the victim, hitting him in the face with a handgun. He was treated at Altoona Regional and was released. However, police said the suspects fired a shot in the air before leaving the scene.Anyone with information should contact the Altoona Police Department at 949-2489 or call 911.
