Officials said several Clearfield County communities are dealing with water shortages, prompting conservation efforts in several towns. In Ansonville, there was only about 1 foot of water left in the reservoir Wednesday. There, officials asked residents to conserve as much water as possible by taking shorter showers and cutting down on washing clothes.Officials said rainfall over the night and into Thursday morning will go a long way in bringing levels at the reservoirs back to normal. The Houtzdale Water Authority agreed to supply Ansonville with water as long as they need it. County officials said they can also provide trailers of water -- or water buffalos -- for communities in need. For complete weather coverage, including your FREE Early Warning Neighborhood Forecast, please Visit our weather page. There, you can also see WJAC Weather Plus and get PennDOT's latest road conditions. Also, don't forget to send us your severe weather photos as part of our community slideshow.
