Counterfeit DVDs Confiscated From Johnstown Store

Police said they confiscated nearly 300 counterfeit DVDs from a Johnstown business on Wednesday.Investigators said the DVDs in Smoke N' Jokes on Strayer Street looked authentic, but were not. Police and confidential informants purchased the DVDs, which they said were of movies not yet released for circulation.The store also allegedly displayed obscene DVDs that showed actors engaged in sexual acts on the covers, and police said the DVDs were visible to minors.According to a criminal complaint, police also removed counterfeit shoes, purses and sunglasses.
