Residents In Clearfield County Concerned About Safety On Route 153

HUSTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Neighbors are looking for changes along Route 153 in Huston Township, Clearfield County.Resident have complained about speeding and careless drivers on that roadway for the past year.A few people attended this week's township supervisor's meeting to express their concerns."People are just driving too fast," said Andy Johnson, who lives along Route 153. "But this area isn't patrolled by police."Johnson added that there is heavy truck traffic on the roadway, between Parker Dam State Park and Interstate 80.Residents would also like to see passing zones eliminated in that area.
