The city of Johnstown is gearing up for the big Showcase for Commerce crowd.

Thousands of people from all over the world make their way to Johnstown every year for the annual event.

City Manager Curt Davis said the Chamber of Commerce and JARI work hard to coordinate and get the city in tip-top shape for the premier event.

The biggest feature Showcase goers will get a chance to see for the first time this year is the new Tech Park downtown.

City officials said it's the perfect opportunity to show it off when thousands of people pack the nearby Cambria County War Memorial.

"I'm sure that since Northrup Grumman and MTS Technologies are there they will be taking people over for a tour," said Davis.
