Parking is at a premium during Showcase For Commerce.

Johnstown officials are trying to prevent parking wars from hitting the city streets.

The Chamber of Commerce and JARI got a sponsor to rent out the entire ITC Garage for showcase goers. The city even passed out parking hangers for set-up crews to help keep meters from being tied up.

City Manger Curt Davis said meter enforcers are told to go easy during big events because of all the congestion. Davis said the city hasn't received any complaints so far.
