A Somerset County church is helping its community have new clothes during tough economic times.

The Rev. Joe Maurizio started a free clothing swap at Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel in Central City.

Maurizio said many people head to the church's thirft store and now they can take advantage of something that's completely free.

"It takes a long time for something like this, I think, to really start to get it off the ground where people know about it, but we're hoping that it will reach some people who will come in and benefit from it," said Maurizio.

The clothing swap is open every Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. until the end of August.
