Taxpayers in Bedford County could see their property taxes go up as much as 1,700 percent.On Tuesday, the commissioners voted 2-1 to proceed with a countywide reassessment project despite objections form hundreds of taxpayers.Previously, the company that assessed properties admitted it made a long list of mistakes.The commissioners voted to bill Tyler Technologies for the county's time spent on correcting the assessment mistakes.Stay with WJACTV.com and WJAC-TV News for continuing coverage.
