Buyers Show Interest In Laurel Crest

Posted: 4:40 pm EDT July 2, 2009Updated: 6:31 pm EDT July 2, 2009

There appears to be some interested buyers in the Laurel Crest Nursing Home in Cambria County.

Last week, commissioners decided to put the facility up for sale, saying it's becoming too expensive to operate and a burden on taxpayers.

P.J. Stevens told WJAC on Thursday that they will review the list of potential buyers next month, and hope to have a deal before the end of the year.

The commissioners also completed their annual audit. For the fifth year in a row, Cambria County's budget is in the black.
