Large Volume Expected This Weekend On Turnpike

State officials expect nearly 2 million vehicles to use the Pennsylvania Turnpike this weekend. To prepare for the traffic surge, all construction work has been put on hold.It will cost more than last year, however, as toll rates went up in January.A trip from Bedford to the Valley Forge exit will cost $12.50. Going west, a trip from Bedford to the Ohio border is $8.50.
