Gas Company Ordered To Fix Jefferson County Water Problems

KNOX TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has ordered an Armstrong County gas company to fix water problems in Jefferson County.Three houses in Knox Township are affected by the problems.Residents first noticed natural gas bubbling up into their water wells in April.According to DEP officials, Snyder Brothers Drilling must has water systems in place within 10 days.The problems must be resolved by Oct. 1.Snyder Brothers officials were not available for comment.
