Local School Earns Award

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- A State College elementary school is being recognized as one of the best in the country.

Park Forest Elementary has received a $10,000 award. It came from the education commission of the states.

The award recognizes schools that teach student leadership in the classroom and in the community.
