Cold Case Gets Reopened

Police in Somerset County are reopening a cold case.They're looking for any leads on the 1992 slaying of Norman Beutman.The 40-year-old Windber man was found dead in his apartment, apparently beaten and stabbed.Drug paraphernalia was also found at the scene.If you have any information, call state police at 814-445-4104.

New City Manager Hired

The city of Johnstown has a new city manager.However, WJAC is still waiting to hear from city officials about who that new hire is.The announcement was made Wednesday as council members approved the 2010 budget.As WJAC has reported, the plan includes 14 layoffs and a 24 percent tax increase.
