Sheetz Family Donates $2.5 Million To Penn State Altoona

ALTOONA, Pa. -- The owners of Sheetz Convenience Stores have donated $2.5 million to Penn State-Altoona.The gift from Stephen and Nancy Sheetz is the largest in the school's 70-year history.School officials said the money will go to the new Sheetz Fellows Program, which will offer students a new opportunity to excel in entrepreneurial students.The specific designation for the money will be announced at a later date.
