Hearing Set For Ordinance Monday Night

When hosting a party, should the host be responsible for the actions of the guests?

In State College Monday night, a public hearing is set for a proposed controversial nuisance ordinance. It includes provisions to fine or even jail party hosts if their guests get out of control. The American Civil Liberties Union is among those threatening legal action if the ordinance is adopted. Some borough council members said the proposal needs to be reworked before it can be considered for approval.
