Still No Tenant For Former Menoher Heights Fire Station

Now that the Menoher Heights Fire Station is closed, firefighters and Upper Yoder Township supervisors are still deciding what to do with the building.

The volunteer fire company closed last month due to financial problems. Upper Yoder firefighters have stepped in to cover the area and have a Menoher Heights fire truck, but the fire house remains locked with other equipment inside.

Upper Yoder fire officials said they can't afford to take on the Menoher Heights Fire Station, so it will remain locked for now.
