A Cambria County nursing home could get a new owner by the end of the year, commissioners said.Grane Healthcare is currently in the process of buying Laurel Crest, which is currently run by the county. The county is working with Grane, the tenants' organization at the building, and employees about the transition.Officials said no layoffs are expected, but employees with have to fill out a new application with Grane to continue to work here."All they simply have to do is fill out a job application and there is some confusion to that. Why should we, we already work here? But they will be working for a different entity," said commissioner P.J. Stevens.Stay with WJACTV.com and WJAC-TV News for continuing coverage.
