JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- As the merger of Thomas Honda and Team Chevrolet sinks in, WJAC wondered what other dealerships are doing in this tough economic time.WJAC went to Laurel Toyota Tuesday to talk to the vice president of operations of Laurel Auto Groupsm Matt Smith.Instead of consolidating, Smith said, Toyota decided to take a different route. Laurel Toyota in Richland Township expanded and remodeled its facility in hopes of attracting buyers.Their many brands are some of the strongest in car sales, but it's still been a tough year for the company.During Cash for Clunkers, Toyota saw a peak in sales but it will still be a slow rise out of this recession.
