EBENSBURG, Pa. -- Fire Crews from the Dauntless Fire Company responded to what they thought was a fire at The Cottage and at the Cogos Gas Station in Ebensburg. It turned out there wasn't a fire, but people smelled smoke because they were having electrical problems.On Wednesday afternoon a transformer blew at the Revloc substation, leaving more than 100 Penelec customers in Ebensburg without power.Penelec officials said customers got their power back 44 minutes later. They don't know what caused the transformer to blow, but they will fix the problems at the substation.
