RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Planet Ice in Richland Township will be up for auction at a sheriff's sale sometime in March. Now workers, parents and skaters are asking the community to help.Workers said the owners aren't interested in keeping the facility open, so they need a local owner to step up and buy it.WJAC-TV found out Planet Ice owners were having financial difficulties and that's why the building is for sale.People aren't sure what will happen to the rink if noone buys it, but supporters do know it's the only rink nearby.
