Officer Critically Injured After High-Speed Chase
A Blair County police officer remains in critical condition after crashing his car during a pursuit in a high-speed chase.
David Flaig of the Roaring Spring Police Department is being treated at Altoona Hospital.
According to police, Officer Flaig was attempting to pull over a car on Route 36, but the car took off at a high rate of speed into Bedford County. Flaig lost control of his car after striking a guard-rail in Woodbury.
The driver of the car Officer Flaig was chasing has been identified and charges are pending.
