Jury selection is underway in the murder trial of a Baltimore man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death.

Authorities said Andre Staton stabbed Beverly Yohn to death at her home while her children watched. Prosecutors are expected to seek the death penalty.

Staton's defense team filed a number of motions in the months before the trial. The team requested a change in venue, a sequestered jury, and a delay to allow them more time to review DNA evidence.
