Boating Accident Injures Child

SOMERSET COUNTY -- A boy was cut several times by a boat's propeller while he was tubing in an area lake.The accident happened on Lake Stonycreek just before 8 p.m. Sunday.Police said the boy was tubing and fell off. Before his boat could get back to him, another boat ran over the boy and the propeller cut his leg in three places.The boy was brought to shore and transported to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Officials have not released his condition.The incident is under investigation.
