The Somerset Fraternal Order of Police Lodge formally known as the roof garden Lodge 98 is now the Flight 93 Lodge 98.And the lodge along others teamed up to raise money for a good cause.T-shirts was just one of the things you could buy to support the America's 9-11 Foundation in Somerset County. It was a huge community affair in Somerset. It started off with a ride out to Shanksville for a memorial service. After the service, motorcyclists, local law enforcement and the general public packed the Highland Harley Davidson shop for a free concert featuring Donnie Iris and the Cruisers. Aside from the great music, all kinds of things were for sale to help raise money for the soon to be built crash site memorial. Officers that worked that day say they will never forget 9-11.Phil Staib said, “Our officers all came together as a group. We paired up in teams and worked the entire day and did many different projects. It made us a stronger unit that's why we finally decided to get involved to make the change to our lodge.”So far organizers say they are pleased with the turnout and all those who came out to support the event.
