ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Emergency crews spent more than two hours on the scene of a two-vehicle accident in Blair County Wednesday morning that caused slowdowns for motorists.
Officials said two vehicles, a pickup truck hauling an animal trailer and a tractor-trailer, collided in the westbound lanes of the Cross Keys area between the Interstate 99 and Routes 764/22 interchanges at about 8:30 a.m. in Allegheny Township.
Officials said after the vehicles collided, they ended up entangled in the median between the eastbound and westbound lanes. Traffic was reduced to one lane in both directions to allow for crews to clean up the scene.
There was no immediate information available about any potential injuries or what may have caused the crash. State police at Hollidaysburg were investigating.
