National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the most of the viewing area through Wednesday morning, with Winter Storm Warnings in place for Northern Centre and Cameron counties where heavier icing will occur tonight.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Cambria, Somerset, Blair, Huntingdon, Bedford and Indiana counties Wednesday night into Thursday for the potential of heavy snow.

Second person to challenge Shuster in 9th District Race

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. -- A candidate tossed off last year's primary ballot because he didn't have enough signatures on his nominating petitions is again planning to challenge U.S. Rep. Bill Shuster in next year's Republican primary in the 9th Congressional District.

Travis Schooley, of Waynesboro, Franklin County, is the second Republican challenger to announce a run in May's primary. Bedford County businessman Art Halvorson is the other candidate running against Shuster for the nomination.

Shuster, of Hollidaysburg, Blair County, has been a Congressman since he succeeded his father, Rep. Bud Schuster, in 2001. Bud Shuster had held the seat since 1973.|

Schooley, 39, has been a delegate or alternate delegate to the last two Republican national conventions. Schooley describes himself as a Constitutional conservative.
