BOSWELL, Pa. -- A man bit a trooper and kicked another after he attempted to flee an arrest, police said.

Police said Jonathan Timulak, 27, was arrested after he was stopped for suspicion of driving under the influence.

In the process Timulak attempted to flee the situation, and kicked a trooper and bit another, police said.

Timulak was eventually taken into custody, and was found to have paraphernalia and substance in his possession.

Due to the amount that was taken off of Timulak police charged him with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, police said.

Timulak was placed into the Somerset County Jail on $50,000 bail.

The troopers did not require medical treatment.
