Cameron Co. man arrested on drug charges

EMPORIUM, Pa. -- A Cameron County man was arrested for allegedly having drugs.

State police at Emporium said 32-year-old John Paul Richard, of Emporium, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for allegedly having controlled substances and drug paraphernalia on him on May 28.

Investigators said when troopers went to serve the warrant at 123 W. Sixth St. in Emporium just after 1:30 p.m., Richard was found to be in possession of additional controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

Police said Richard faces several drug-related charges and was placed in the Elk County Jail on $5,000 bail.
