HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. -- Some changes at Blair County polling locations are to  take place before the November election.

Blair County has agreed with the Department of Justice over accessibility issues following a complaint from six years ago.

That complaint was concerning one polling location that was not handicap-accessible.

In 2012, the DOJ paid a visit and determined that 76 out of 88 places in the county had problems.

"We've begun to acquire the equipment that is needed and all of the polling places have been revisited to determine what needs to be done," said Blair County Commissioner Diane Meling. "So, yes, in the November election all of these issues will be resolved."

The county is paying for the cost of changes through a grant called Help America Vote.
