2 convicted felons charged with illegally selling handgun

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. —

Altoona police have charged two men with the illegal sale of a handgun in the city.

Police said an undercover officer bought a .22 caliber revolver from William Bush for $80 on Wednesday.

Bush was taken into custody after the sale and was found to be a felon who is prohibited from having a firearm.

Later, police arrested Charles Nail after learning he allegedly sold the gun to Bush for $50. Nail is also a convicted felon.
