BELLEFONTE, Pa. --
Twenty Penn State students face trial on charges stemming from the riot that broke out after the ousting of football coach Joe Paterno amid a child sex-abuse scandal involving former Paterno assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.
The Associated Press said all but one student waived preliminary hearings Wednesday before a Centre County district judge, but that student was also bound over for trial.
Two of the students who waived hearings face felony rioting charges in connection with the overturning of a television news van in the hours after university officials fired Paterno and forced the resignation of school President Graham Spanier following Sandusky's arrest.
Police have charged a total of 45 people in connection with the incidents.
